Our weapons arts program steps away from the widely popular and traditionally taught European fencing and longsword programs and focuses on lesser known styles rooted in resistance and founded by BIPOC martial artists. Our style mixes Haitian Machete, Kali, African Stick fighting and Japanese kendo!
❋ CardioLearning to wield a weapon while moving through space and staying aware of your surroundings is a fun way to build cardio vascular endurance, strength and stamina !
❋ FlowPWe incorporate flow arts into our weapon work. Learning to throw, catch, spin your sword improves dexterity and coordination

No! We use practice weapons to learn technique and run drills. Switching to padded weapons for practical application.
