Our Goal
At ChiCycle Explorers, we believe every ride is more than just a trip from point A to point B, it’s an opportunity to grow, learn, and explore. Our program is built around three core goals:
🚲 Ride Safely
We teach kids how to navigate city streets with confidence, from mastering hand signals and understanding traffic rules to staying visible and aware in different environments. Safety isn’t just a rule here — it’s a skill they’ll carry for life.
🌆 Gain Independence
Biking in Chicago is the first time a kid realizes the city is bigger than the few blocks they already know. Once you start riding, the places that used to feel far suddenly feel reachable. You can get to the park without asking for a ride, or follow a street you have only ever seen from the back seat of a car. The city stops feeling like something adults move you through and starts feeling like something you can explore on your own terms. Even if you are only out for a little while, that freedom makes Chicago feel wider and more open, as if it finally belongs to you, too. Our goal is to give kids the ability to freely ride around the city safely.
😄 Have Fun
We believe the best way to learn is by having a blast! Each ride is filled with games, exploration, and the thrill of discovering new places in Chicago. Our goal is for every rider to end the day with a big smile and a bigger sense of accomplishment.
With ChiCycle Explorers, kids don’t just learn how to ride — they learn how to explore their world with curiosity, confidence, and joy.
