Mission Statement
Onyx Iklwa is a Liberation Arts company that teaches martial arts and hosts city wide bike rides for youth and adults. It was created to empower our communities and create cross generational memories. What does it bring/ what are the goals behind creating Iron Orchid as well as ChiCycle Explorers? We offer more accessible queer -led programming that unifies our communities through liberation arts that promote freedom, self autonomy, social justice, and challenge oppression by using movement, education and FUN!

Iron Orchid
Learning something new, especially a martial art, can be intimidating. Iron Orchid makes learning martial arts fun and accessible. Iron Orchid focuses on two systems for fitness and self defense: Kickboxing and Sword fighting!
ChiCycle Explorers
We host bike adventures for youth and residents. We bike all over the city, teaching road riding skills, long distance trail riding, track riding, and group riding all while discovering the sites and deep history these locations hold. Check out our Youth Summer Camp!
